두 방법의 주요 차이점은 플러싱 오일은 매우 묽은 오일로서 이론적으로 부분적으로 막힌 얇은 통로에 문제없이 침투할 수 있고 축적된 오염물질을 제거할 수 있다는 것입니다. 또한 약간 새는 개스킷도 빼낼 수 있습니다. 보통 좋은 제품을 구입했다면 적절한 세정 첨가제도 포함되어 있습니다. 첨가제는 엔진 내 기존 오일의 점도를 실제로 변경하지 않으며 일반 모터 오일에서 찾을 수 있는 농축된 세제 패키지일 뿐입니다(두 제품 간의 화학 반응이 없기를 바라며 - 보통은 없지만 가능성이 있을 수 있음). 오일이 이미 많은 오염물질을 현탁액으로 보유 중이고 오일 필터가 여과 능력에 도달했다면 이득보다 손상을 더 끼칠 수 있습니다. 저는 둘 다 사용해봤으며 여전히 가끔 플러싱 오일을 사용합니다. 하지만 상당한 오염으로 인한 피해를 입지 않은 정상적으로 작동하는 엔진의 경우, 저는
