They're probably not living in rented accommodation either.)Edited by je777 on Wednesday 2nd September 13:13 But I'd so argue that the people who would pay £350k for this probably wouldn't ever drive it - it's a pointless car.It's not £350k because of the cost to build.It's not £350k because it's worth that to the rich person buying it.It's £350k because they can sell it for that to someone exceedingly wealthy who likely has no real personal satisfaction in life and just keeps buying things because they can, regardless of whether or not they will use it and enjoy it.I doubt many (if anyone) who could afford this - who also is an absolute Elise enthusiast and planned to drive their perfect Elise would buy actually this. They'd likely commission their own resto-mod.I'd bet my house that 99% of owners who purchase these are not Lotus enthusiasts or even driving enthusiasts. They may well have massive collections of cars but they'll mostly be collecting dust.
