Don't really have any brand loyalties. Some brands do or did things I liked which got them repeat or long term ownership, but it was always on the merits of the car.Things I've had more than one of:Assorted BL tat - because they were dirt cheap bangers. Was glad to see the back of them.Peugeot - I just liked the way Peugeot used to set its cars up to ride and handle.Mazda - in the MX-5 and RX-8 they were one of the few purveyors of sporting mass market cars.BMW - liked the engines in the Z4M and 335D. Like the way even the 4wd car was a bit tail happy.Mercedes - had a couple of E class estates, so comfortable, practical. Wouldn't have another, though, they're very much living on past glories when it comes to durability and reliability of the engineering. I've owned the Elise longer than any other car I've had, 17 years now, but I don't feel any compulsion to chop it in for anything they make now. It's not brand loyalty, I just like that car.

I did the backbox delete on my M5 and the noise was heavenly. The only downside was you lost the intake noise as the exhaust was that much louder. I've heard a bunch of aftermarket exhausts and for me, the delete is the best sounding and also the cheapest.
