I wonder what the sadly Late Z guru Mike Feeney, would make of this. I daily drove an ultra scarce 74 Silver 2 seat 260Z years ago & briefly owned a white L registered 240Z some 22 years ago ( which sold last year for almost £30 grand ) huge fan of these cars, but so much else available for the money.

Seriously - what do you tribe of miserable moaning old men think building something like this costs? how much time does it take to develop, to build, to test, to refine, etc - and it's traditional you also *make* some money doing it as well. If literally every single restomod generates the reaction of "how much?", do you not think it's maybe you that is the issue here?If there was anything to find fault with (and there isn't), it would be the colour is a little muted vs. what might have been - the concours example below I can't think of an improvement on, colour wise. Wonderful original car, and wonderful adaption. My favourite restomod. I love mine, but am under no illusions in the step up in quality someone like MZR can bring vs. me bashing away with a spanner...Your car is nice, but indeed that example from MRZ is just particularly beautiful, what a beauty.

A few years ago I saw Porsche 992 racers on 18", which looked ridiculous. So I asked why?Because they drive so much better on 18" sir.OK, I'll have a JAS Tensei NSX on 18" please...
