Monkeylegend said: I came back to my car after a 45 minute shop in Sainsburys and found it locked but the engine still running.I forgot to press the engine stop button and just got out and locked it and walked away. It does have a very quiet engine though.That must make me a knob Only if you shouted at someone who had tried to make you aware whilst you were doing your shopping.Good old stop/start.

FFS.This behaviour plus the increasing size of cars can seriously hold up traffic in some places.I have regularly used the B4407 in North Wales since the 1970s. Back then, at busy times, there would be a constant flow in each direction at about 30-40mph. No need to slow to pass anything other than a rare truck.Same road now seems to have less traffic but every vehicle met involves both slowing to a crawl.Must be quite a few roads of similar size in the Scottish Highlands. Better drivers there perhaps. Apart from the motor homes!
