1999 토요타 코롤라 3도어에서 주행 중 파킹브레이크(주차브레이크) 경고등이 15초~수분 간격으로 랜덤하게 켜졌다 꺼졌다 반복됨. 차가 정지하면 경고등이 더 이상 깜빡이지 않음. 여름 중반부터 갑자기 시작되었으며 점점 악화되어 현재는 켜있는 시간이 더 많음. 노르웨이 북부의 추운 환경(0°C 이하). 브레이크 페달 작동감은 정상이며 2년 전 교체함.
처리 내용
파킹브레이크 경고등은 동시에 주(footbrake) 브레이크 시스템의 서비스 경고등으로도 작동함. 먼저 브레이크 액(브레이크 오일) 레벨을 확인해야 함. 최저치(min) 근처라면 새것(미개봉)의 브레이크 액으로 보충 필요. 비워졌거나 최저치 아래라면 시스템 내 에어가 유입되었을 가능성이 있으므로 블리딩(brake bleeding) 작업 권장. 오일 교체 이력이 오래되었다면 이 기회에 브레이크 액 교체도 함께 실시하는 것이 좋음.

2018 코롤라 XSE, 55,000마일. 최근 장거리 고속도로 주행 중 에어컨을 지속적으로 사용. 신호등에서 정차할 때 RPM이 정상보다 낮아지고 차량이 약간 떨림. RPM이 올라갈 때도 같은 현상 발생하며, RPM 내려갈 때 떨림이 더 심함. 에어컨을 켜지 않을 때도 동일하게 발생. 정비소에서는 AC 컴프레셔 교체를 1차 진단으로 제시함.

I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.

I think it is a shame to lose one of the distinctive features of the 944 (the wrap around rear screen).Proportions from rear three-quarters are also a bit too Scimitar for my taste but each to their own.
