Yes, you can test in the paddock with the valves closed but if you run on track with them closed the additional back-pressure kills the engine. 2007 Saab 9-3, 간헐적 출력 저하 및 간헐적 크랭크 불가/시동 불가 증상. 출력 저하 발생 시 촉매변환기 막힘 증상처럼 느껴짐. 가속 시도 시 심하게 떨어짐.

2020 현대 i10. 엔진 켜진 상태에서 오일 스틱을 2회, 각 10초씩 뽑았을 때 배기음이 커지고 회전수가 올라간 것처럼 들렸음. 스틱을 다시 삽입하니 원래대로 돌아옴.
