Nice to see the Hot Hatch EV has another contender in it. I think it looks ok and if I was in the market for such a thing I’d take a look. Plenty of kit too.

I look back fondly on my 200SX/Cerbera/F56 Cooper S, because they all weighed around the same, and obviously I'm fortunate to have the Caterham at 550kg as well, so I do still at least get to experience how a car should feel weight wise I think. Plus the Caterham isn't a fast one either with only a 140bhp, yet it still gets to 60 quicker than this Corsa does though, so that just proves that the weight of a car plays a part even when you've got double the bhp for example I think. Totally agree that weight does matter, especially for performance and feel, but back in the nova days I don’t think I looked at weight and I’m not sure others do nowerdays either, well not compared to older cars anyway. Comparatively, this corsa isn’t a heavy car, like you said all modern cars are heavy, all the safety and comfort and tech that is demanded adds weight, as does the battery.A shame it sounds like it might be too stiff for uk roads, set up for track use which really isn’t the ideal choice I’d have thought, as I’m sure most won’t track their EV.
