Yes, you can test in the paddock with the valves closed but if you run on track with them closed the additional back-pressure kills the engine. M135i 첫 서비스와 MOT 예정인 상황에서 BMW 메인 딜러의 과도한 수리 권고에 대한 우려. 타이어 트레드 깊이 등 불필요한 부품 교체 권유 경험.
BMW Z4 E85(2007년식) - 시동 후 파워 스티어링(동력 조향)이 갑자기 작동 중단되고 노란색 스티어링 휠 경고등이 점등됨. 전압 측정 결과 약 13.1V~13.3V로 저하. 발전기 프리휠(overrunning clutch)이 불량이었음. 발전기 프리휠과 레귤레이터를 완전히교체했음. 현재 배터리와 전압은 정상 상태이고 엔진도 양호함. 하지만 노란색 스티어링 휠 경고등이 계속 점등되고 파워 스티어링이 여전히 작동하지 않음.
M135i 구매 후 첫 서비스와 MoT 예정. BMW 메인 딜러가 과도하게 문제를 부풀릴 수 있다는 우려. 딜러가 타이어 트레드 깊이를 자세히 언급하며 불필요한 부품 교체를 권유하는 경향 있음.

A neighbour had one of these and I used to love hearing him start it up in the morning (he also had a V Twin Buell which was even noisier). Top bloke.
