Nothing was difficult with them. Whereas conversely, the Vectra B that replaced the Cavalier was utter dog st... and that's not because Clarkson said so, though he was right. I had a 2001 Vectra B. I didn't like it but the damn thing was indestructible and I really tried. Even standing on the roof when trying to spot a way out of a festival.

Saab spent tonnes of money making their cars better than the GM equivalent but without market success. a snazzy Vectra with a better interior and sound deadening could've been a good seller but not when the car costs so much more to manufacture.
