What to do about all the photos on previous posts is another question, but you'd at least have the photos back.I will have a look into that, thank you for the tip Having got as far as I could with removing paint from the engine bay I know that there are some holes that need blanking and other that need to be drilled which I'd rather sort all this before I start the arduous task of making the inner wings look presentable and painting them.Plus knowing how everything will fit together might highlight any issues I may encounter (foreshadowing!)Starting with building the inlet manifold back up, I need to purchase some longer studs or trial cap head set screws for the upper ITB mounts as the space between the drilling and the injector boss is awkward.With the throttle linkage approximately in position I could put the inlet and exhaust manifolds back on the head and instantly it looks less depressing when I walk into the garage.I could finally connect the cable throttle to the ITB's, I had briefly considered keeping the mechanical linkage but remembered that there was a high pitched vibration somewhere on the bulkhead during light throttle load which I believed to be wear in the old pedal - it ran along the bulkhead behind the heater and it doesn't have bearings or bushes which leads to play especially when it is 60 years old.The cable was fairly simple, I used a mountain bike brake cable and Bowden tube. What I wasn't a fan of was the inflexibility of it originally and I don't want to run an excessive cable so reverted back to my mountain biking / box days and used a 90 degree v brake noodle at the bulkhead to give me a neater run to the ITB's. The noodle conveniently slots into an M5 rivnut so there's no movement or binding etc when under load.The pedal is firm but not hard to pu
