I agree re the Juke, had one on loan for 2 weeks, hateful thing. I find posts like this one on the Ibiza heartwarming. I know there's a general tendency to slate newer cars and hark back to the so called "good old days" but this shows just how good modern cars to be because that is a lot of miles to put on a small capacity engined car in a short space of time. When I started driving in the late 80s lets be honest most petrol engined cars were pretty ropey when they got to 100K miles, especially if they clocked them up in just 2 or 3 years. I remember a guy I went to football matches with and he used to put 100K on a car in 2-3 years in the early 90s and he said most of them were knackered once they had hit the 100K mark....... I've been eyeing up a 134K mile Suzuki Swift Sport MK2 recently which is up for sale at a garage near me for £3,475. The photos suggest it is a very clean example. Perhaps I should go and have a look at it.
