Missy Charm said: I've had my present car, a Ford Focus, for the best part of sixteen years. Sixteen years ago, the car was four years old and just, well, a car. Now it is twenty years old and, in the eyes of others, an 'old' car. Owing to that, I think, the way others react to the car has changed. Years ago, they used to ignore it; nowadays they seem to want to bully it. The bullying behaviour takes the form, generally, of trying to get or stay in front at all costs. I don't drive slowly, so we're not talking about being overtaken in the traditional sense; the get-or-stay-in-front merchants will do things such as pull out of the slow lane into mine if there's any danger of me going past or perform completely irrational manoeuvres such as weaving in and out or going into an overtaking lane, passing, and then immediately cutting back in again and slowing down to the speed they actually wish to drive at. I've even had drivers straddling lanes to prevent passing on either side. It's silly.I've also noticed a lot of low-speed, aggressive tailgating recently. Those are fairly easy to deal with, in that all one has to do is drive faster. Perhaps old cars have it harder than small ones? I can only answer for myself... But car type or age is of zero relevance. If the driver of the car drives up to the speed limit as required by the driving test, that's fine. If they drive below the speed limit with no reason then they're wasting some of my life. I won't 'bully' them but I'll be overtaking them at the first safe opportunity.I was bullied at school for a while and in the end it became obvious to me that it was because I was a bit of tt. I think the current younger generation have a different approach to being bullied - self reflection isn't their first response... But I do think that if you feel repeatedly 'bullied', it's worth some self reflection. When I overtake someone on an NSL road doing 40mph and they flash their lights at me... Just why!? I don't care tha

All due respect to the current Puma, which is a decent car that drives well, but there is only one in my eyes.I had a Mk1 Puma 1.7 in Moondust Silver when I was 21 as my daily car. I loved how it drove and went everywhere in it, and the car was sort of part of the reason my partner & I got together. I ended up selling it to move on to something else, as we usually do at that fickle age, but I've always hankered after another.I've viewed many Puma's that have promised to be amazing, only to be let down by predictable corrosion (a notable one being a 9k mile example a few years ago that had a fi

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
