The BMW CSL is simply stunning and would be my lottery win choice!
richinlondon said: Jag is fantastic and a good price, nice to see the suffix A RR coming down a bit to a more sensible price, both top of my list here!Except the Range Rover is a suffix D not an A, looking at various adverts you would pay a lot more for an A in similar condition My choice would be the BMW followed by the Alpine and Range Rover.Although I m a Porsche fan I wouldnt fancy driving this one solely due to my lower back condition, the Alfa is beautiful but not my cup of Darjeeling and the Daimler; I d always wish I d bought a Double Six coupe (although Iβd then want it to be like the one Harry Metcalfe owned I.e a manual with all the other work he had doneAs an aside, the Daimler / Jaguar XJs of that period always left me wondering why they bothered with head restraints because for any driver over average height the head restraints were in the middle of your shoulder blades, and if you pulled them upwards they got father away from ones swede..Edited by Augustus Windsock on Saturday 8th August 07:37

From what I understand.. no aftermarket V10 exhaust passes regular track noise limits. Yes, you can test in the paddock with the valves closed but if you run on track with them closed the additional back-pressure kills the engine. I'd be limited to anything that's no limits, which isn't much and, lets be honest, is where all the big boys play I think you are looking at this wrongβ¦Put an exhaust on the R8. Then you can buy a light weight more track focussed car for track. More cars,

A neighbour had one of these and I used to love hearing him start it up in the morning (he also had a V Twin Buell which was even noisier). Top bloke.
