Nun, es ist schon etwas über 6 Monate her, das VW ErWin für privat Personen geschlossen hat. Es wurde ja schon ausführlich darüber berichtet. ErWin war nie kostenlos, man hat dafür bezahlt. Trotzdem waren viele überrascht, das dieses Angebot eingestellt wurde. ich hatte VW diesbezüglich an geschrieben, und meinen Unmut darüber zu äußern. Corrado for me too...the first time I saw one in the showroom that was it, sadly I couldn't afford one they were more expensive than a Golf GTi 16v. A few years later they had just went out of production and I went looking for one...a year later I found exactly the car I wanted at a VAG main dealer, Corrado 16v, red, low miles...checking it over I discovered it was accident damaged, I was gutted.I never owned one...but I did promise myself if ever VW made another coupe I'd buy one, so I got a new Scirocco.

Bought a 1.6Tsi version of this for my son to learn to drive in around 8 years ago. He passed and had it as his daily for a few years, then upgraded, I now have this as my dump car. I must say what a reliable car this has been. No major issued over the years, OK, the door locks have gone, common problem, but for leaving here there and anywhere, chucking the dogs in or a trip to the dump, what a reliable well engineered piece of kit. For what it costs to run etc, OK, front wing tops are rusty.... But Id rather use this than someone ding my door on my Bentley! Edited by Trusty Steed on Friday 9
