Could have been a bad one, a car coming the other way turned across me towards an entrance (on an NSL road), then panicked and stopped in the middle of the road (blocking both sides) when he saw me - too late for me to avoid so I ended up hitting the rear passenger side of his car then into a hedge/ditch. Now he's told insurers (and probably police) that he was minding his own business driving along the road when I overtook someone and collided with him - luckily (again) there was a witness who has told police and insurers that this is nonsense, and the physical damage evidence will clearly back that up. Time to get a dashcam I think...Driving around in the Audi now, which has made me think I'd like to replace the Mini with a more comfortable EV when I get the insurance payout. Mazda CX-30 looks like a good option (I'm fine with the range), or a Honda E if the insurers are feeling unusually generous.
