I like the whole left field concept of Bristol and especially this.However, that interior looks a bit meh. Those silver control knobs are straight off a Belling gas hob

There's a lot of the Marcos TSO in the profile shape but the Marcos had far better headlights and a price tag more in-line with the level of tech/build - it was about 1/5th of the cost of the original Fighter.I think it was hard-wired into Bristol to take a blank-cheque approach to all those bits they could do; okay, you can't develop your own engine but you can spend £10k tuning it for an extra 25hp, you can hand-beat all the panels, you can have the trimming done in 100% dead animal by a micro-factory in the 'wolds.I always got the impression that they were bought by inbred eccentrics who probably had no idea why they'd chosen to drop Bentley+ money on one, as opposed to on, well, anything else. Aside from quirky exclusivity and a bit of refained old-money "wink-wink", I can’t see what a 600-Series dies that a XJS, an SEC or a Conti doesn't do better...
