Wow. I loved the restored M6GT and this looks like a beautiful homage to the early racers. So refreshing to see clean uncluttered lines. I love the front end with the lamp pods looking very 60's/group C. Rear end looks fabulous too with the whole thing striking a brilliant balance between new and old, analogue and tech.. It will be interesting to see how it looks in different colour combos poss without the carbon sides..To see a manual box and hydraulic rack is fantastic. Just imagine if they've managed to make the V8 more guttural too.. It doesn't need to be mammoth horsepower..Just visceral

I do understand the appeal of a manual, and think it looks beautiful, but wonder if it’s a different engine or with changed characteristics to the one they’ve been using, as I don’t really think that it’s one that works well with a manual.It’s so fast that you are hugely restricting performance when you go manual, being up and down four or five gears in a handful of seconds. I think I’d want a slightly “lazier” engine setup and quite wide gear ratios in a manual, so you can drive round on the torque at lower revs and hold one gear over a wider range of engine speeds.
