증상

Toyota 소유자 설명서의 타이어 회전 패턴 다이어그램 참고. 무방향 타이어의 경우, 이 패턴으로 타이어를 교체할 때의 의미는 무엇인가? 특히 앞 타이어를 뒤쪽으로 옮길 때 차량의 같은 쪽에 유지하도록 권장하는 이유는 무엇인가?

처리 내용

타이어 회전을 하는 이유는 마모를 균등하게 하고 타이어 수명을 최대한 연장하기 위함입니다. 전체 크기의 스페어 타이어가 있고 같은 사이즈이며 무방향 타이어라면 회전 대상에 포함됩니다. 트럭처럼 듀얼 리어 휠이 있다면 역시 포함됩니다. 전륜구동 차량의 경우 앞 타이어가 뒤 타이어보다 더 많이 마모됩니다. 타이어 사용을 최대화하려면 각 타이어가 고마모 위치와 저마모 위치 사이에서 번갈아 위치하도록 해야 합니다. 스페어 타이어는 지면에 닿지 않으므로 마모가 가장 적습니다. 앞과 뒤 사이의 주요 마모 차이 때문에, 타이어를 회전하는 한 가지 방법은 단순히 앞에서 뒤로 교체하는 것입니다(풀사이즈 스페어 제외). 그러나 좌우측 사이에 눈에 띄는 마모 차이가 있을 수 있으므로 같은 쪽에 유지하면 이러한 불균형을 최소화할 수 있습니다.
