Either that or make a two tier licence so the gen public understand the implications of driving something that is 3 tonne.Porsche's new EV Cayenne Turbo stops in 147 ft from 75 mph, exactly the same at the Corvette ZR1. 2.7 tons vs 1.7 tons. Please explain.Also, the safety systems on new cars (since 2020) make it quite hard to crash them into things.If I drive my car at a wall or a person, the car will stop before it touches them.During a school run, I had a near incident where a child ran out of parked cars . I was travelling slowly, less than 10mph, but the car systems reacted and stopped before I started to apply the brake.
