JLR have decades of data downloaded from their cars to know exactly what their customers use them for. I think the real question is what is the actual viable range, leaving plenty in the tank for changes, on a long drive, running at motorway speed + premium? No sane person runs to fumes, that has always been the preserve of the sort of idiot who has to spend their day walking to a petrol station or waiting for the AA so you need to be running off a floor somewhere close to a 100 miles for complete relaxation. You then want to be driving at a normal sort of speed for that relaxation which is basically going to be near enough 80mph or 130kph. So, when leaving home full, how far is each leg of a 3,4,500 mile run? That is the single most important question. It's clearly going to work exceptionally at all the 261 day stuff and it's going to be far more pleasant than using a diesel. It'll be the best RR to date and further add to the question of why would you bother with a Rolls unless you don't have a British passport. But, the key is how the charging schedule falls during one of the leisure days where you're heading to the Highlands, the West Country or through France? It'll be interesting to learn the usable mileage between sensible fuel levels and whether that number is workable. Added to which the age demographic of the majority of owners all need a pee after two hours. I speak from experience Starbucks offers the perfect solution with many now having Ionity charging. There is that, although around here it is extremely conspicuous that the key buyers of the newest JLR flagships are those younger

A few years ago I saw Porsche 992 racers on 18", which looked ridiculous. So I asked why?Because they drive so much better on 18" sir.OK, I'll have a JAS Tensei NSX on 18" please...
