I’ve run a few expensive when new cars at the bottom of their depreciation curve, facts are that if you’re no good at self spannering then don’t bother, you may get lucky and it’s a fantastic experience if you do running about in something like this for such little outlay but it isn’t the norm, complicated old cars will be needy, it’s just a fact of life.Best view to take if you’re paying someone else to work on it for you is not to get too attached and start throwing money at it left right and centre because you might as well buy one in good condition in the first place.I run a 17 year old CLS, I’ve not come across anything yet that I can’t do myself but that day may come and when it does then we’ll be parting ways.
