I have a Nissan Qashqai 1.5 dci. My car is not overheating and blowers are blowing cool. The lower radiator hose and the bottom of the radiator are cold. I changed the thermostat and drained the cooling system twice. Still no heat. Any ideas?

For the heater to be blowing cold, the air must not be encountering a hot heater core. There are a few reasons for this: The heater core is blocked, it could be corrosion or a mixture of incompatible coolants forming sludge. The heater valve or its control has failed and the heater is effecting shut off. Air is trapped in the cooling system and is preventing coolant from passing through the heater core. Hot coolant is flowing, but very slowly, and the air flow is able to cool it down completely. Water pump efficiency is down and is unable to push enough coolant through the heater core. Since you've drained the coolant, the first think that I'd do is to confirm that you've actually got coolant in the heater core. Identify the hoses going to the core (often on the passenger (right) side of the firewall) and remove one of them, check that it seems to have coolant in it and try pouring coolant into the hose (using a funnel will make it easier). Next check that you can feel warmth when you

Power seat - Whenever vehicle is started or shut off and the seat slides forward of back, the power seat makes an annoying, obnoxious noise… I thought something was stuck in the track but now I think it’s the motor going out. I have 2013 Nissan Rogue. I live in Toronto, Canada, so it is very cold here right now. I understand that cold temperatures can cause the tire pressure light to come on, but will it actually affect the reading if I use a pressure gauge (I think that's what it's called) to check the tire pressure? For example, the recommended PSI is about 40 I believe. On Saturday, the tire pressure in all four tires was pretty low so I filled them all up to 41. Been a long day. Im not good at putting pictures on here. So ill try again. This is on my 89 year old moms ford explorer.its a 2012 she bought new. 3.5 engine. All work has been done at the local Ford dealer. 75k miles. I looked it over and decided to check the air filters and a few other things. I noticed the coolant looks pink, it should be orange. She has ever receipt from the dealer service. Its never had any work done involving coolant. Just tire rotation and oil changes. Sad to say she’s never even had them change the air filters. So im wondering why does the coolant look pink? 20260102_

Coworker has a 2008 Hyundai Accent, which has overheated repeatedly, consumes a lot of coolant, and barely runs. He wants me to assist with repairing the engine, if possible. I assume by now, the head is warped or cracked, but what I am trying to determine is if the engine block in this model is iron or aluminum. If it’s iron, this can probably be repaired. If it’s aluminum, the entire engine would need to be replaced, which is more work than I would want to do.
