This car is the perfect antidote to modern cars that have too much power, too heavy and too detached for enduring joy.What scared me in the end was parts availability and not being able to fix issues as they arise, despite having a BMW warranty. I think BMW might be working to improve this situation, so if you can find an M5 or M6 in good order, now might be the last chance to pick them up at an affordable price point, especially the M6 which is the sweet spot of being less iconic (and so cheaper), but faster and better handling. I bet they're lovely things to push on in Mike, and I'd love a go in one myself for sure.

I did the backbox delete on my M5 and the noise was heavenly. The only downside was you lost the intake noise as the exhaust was that much louder. I've heard a bunch of aftermarket exhausts and for me, the delete is the best sounding and also the cheapest.
