just came across this, never seen such, although the name sounded familiar.Citroën VanClee Mungo Mehari said: A beautiful, unique car; based on the 2CV, the Belgian firm Vanclee built this car in a very limited edition. This particular example comes from a Citroën enthusiast who has expertly restored the car over the past few years. A photo book of the restoration is included. This beautiful VanClee Mungo Méhari is a special and stylish car with a recognizable Méhari look. A delightful car for anyone looking for something different from a standard passenger car. wow, look at this one, I can't remember ever seeing it in a magazine, its a Piëch BMW M5 with W10 with 480 pk en 592 Nmstory said: It suddenly appeared out of nowhere a year and a half ago: the E39-generation BMW M5 featuring a unique W10 engine. It had been commissioned by then-Volkswagen boss Ferdinand Piëch, who wanted to introduce a ten-cylinder W-engine to sit alongside the W8, W12, and W16. Since there was no suitable Volkswagen or Audi available at the time, the megalomaniacal engineer had an M5—normally powered by a 400 hp V8—brought in for the project. The W10 engine naturally far surpassed that output. The 5.0-liter unit delivered 480 hp and 592 Nm of torque and was mated to a six-speed manual transmission. Essentially, it consisted of two VR5 engines joined together—much like a W12 is formed by fusing two VR6 engines. At the time (around the turn of the millennium), there was no Audi with a manual gearbox capable of handling that much power and torque. Three prototypes were built; this is the only one that is roadworthy—and the very car driven by Piëch himself, who remained deeply involved in the engineering despite his high-ranking position within the group.pretty coolhttps://www.autoweek.nl/autonieuws/artikel/vandaag...

Brief history:I was thinking about buying myself a fun sports car, there's nothing new in the £50-80k range I would particularly be interested in. Had to feel special, had to be light, "analogue" and not overly-assisted. Had to be manual and i prefer a large capacity NA to forced induction. Ford Mustang maybe, perhaps not quite special enough and a bit porky. Emira - I love Lotus and have had a few but i'm not a fan o
