I started this thread really with a question about pros and cons of putting an AJP or something else in my scrap Cerbera and it has morphed into a project build thread over time. Brief history:I was thinking about buying myself a fun sports car, there's nothing new in the £50-80k range I would particularly be interested in. Had to feel special, had to be light, "analogue" and not overly-assisted. Had to be manual and i prefer a large capacity NA to forced induction. Ford Mustang maybe, perhaps not quite special enough and a bit porky. Emira - I love Lotus and have had a few but i'm not a fan o

The only consolation is that putting big capacity American v8 motors into TVR chassis is part of TVR history. At least that is what I tell myself. Probably £20k in partsCrate motor £7000Gearbox £2000Bellhousing, clutch and flywheel £2000ECU and loom £2000Exhaust £2000Bits and bobs (mounts, fuel lines, e-throttle pedal etc etc)But I d need to buy all this stuff anyway if going for an AJP. I reckon it s probably cost neutral. And the LS ought to be a lot more reliable, will easily make more power if needed (I doubt it will be). I have a complete running AJP with gearbox, even the loom and ECU. Would sell it all for 15kSo that is,AJP EngineThrottle bodiesAlternatorInjectorsWiring loomECUFlywheelClutchBell HousingGearboxLiterally bolt it in and off you goSee and then an option like this crops up - which is definitely a good option.Realistically I was told it was around £25k to bolt in an LS properly into a Cerbera, so definately a good option. Mikes well known as well, a racer on the circuit for many years

This particular example comes from a Citroën enthusiast who has expertly restored the car over the past few years. A photo book of the restoration is included. This beautiful VanClee Mungo Méhari is a special and stylish car with a recognizable Méhari look. A delightful car for anyone looking for something different from a standard passenger car. After writing off my BMW 320d halfway through the month, I suddenly found myself in the market for a new car.Once the insurance payout landed, I had just under £5,500 to play with after paying my excess. I spent hours trawling AutoTrader trying to find the right replacement.I'd lined up a BMW X5 that was slightly over budget and was due to view it today... only for it to sell yesterday before I got the chance. Frustrating, but that's just how it goes.I kept looking, but nothing else really grabbed me.Then I spotted a Range Rover Sport on AutoTrader just five miles away. I called the dealership
