증상
신호등에서 대기 중 뉴트럴 상태에서 엔진 회전수가 약 1000 RPM으로 유지되다가 주기적으로(분당 약 3회) 500 RPM으로 떨어졌다가 1200 RPM까지 올라갔다가 다시 천천히 1000 RPM으로 내려감. 이 현상이 1~2초 정도 지속됨.
처리 내용
가솔린 엔진 기준으로 스로틀 바디 내부가 더러워진 것으로 추정됨. 스로틀 밸브(나비 밸브)에 때가 쌓이면 밸브가 닫혔을 때 필요한 공기 흡입이 제한되어 엔진 ECU가 아이들 에어 밸브를 필요 이상으로 열게 되고, 이로 인해 회전수가 변동하는 사이클이 발생함. 스로틀 바디로 연결된 큰 공기 흡입 파이프를 분리한 후 카브 클리너와 천으로 내부를 청소하면 됨. 엔진으로 흙 등 오염물이 빨려 들어가지 않도록 주의할 것.
