I think the people who are standing up and claiming that the U.K. is ruined are liars, charlatans and fraudsters. Most of us are old enough to or have travelled enough to know 'an absolute state' when we see one and we have to start being honest when we are moving around the U.K. and seeing it with our own eyes and when we are looking at the published date the claims of these snake oil vendors and extremist loons simply aren't true. Are things great? No, of course not. The country is hungover and ill from all the excessive borrowing and spending from a government 30 years ago that faked an economic boom. Does the future look awesome? No. 6 decades of not taxing people enough and instead letting them off the hook by loading their debt onto the backs of their children combining with tech shifts that are going to move quicker than we can adapt among other major factors does somewhat dim the prospects of the future. But are we in the mess that those snake oil tricksters want you to believe so that they can manipulate you to give them everything? No. Nowhere near. Here in Scotland thankfully we don't load out kids with debt. It does not help in that young people with degrees find themselves j
