Most ordinary cars will eventually reach a state where the decision has to be made whether to scrap or repair them. I think the kinds of people with the skills and inclination to repair a low-value car tend to be more motivated to buy and care for Citroens than the other brands you mention. They're probably also the kinds of people who go to car shows. So I think people's interest in Citroens also contributes to their survival rate.
