At some point I will replace it with a cheap EV.Some are saying that increasing costs, i.e ved and fuel costs, and maybe new rules on ulez, will in effect force ice drivers to make the change over to EV, not sure this is true, or when in the future.

Plenty of car thefts, in the Midlands typically Landrover and German performance stuff. Are electric cars being stolen or just ICE?

Not a single one of those additional things you mentioned has ever been the slightest issue. The lack of rust, and general better upkeep of the Japanese cars will always massively, massively outweight any potential drawback due to being left in the sun a bit.

I bought one of these 3 years ago for Β£21k it had 19k miles on it and all factory options ticked aside from heated steering wheel and colour changing interior lights. For the money I could have bought a semi ropey 90k+ miles German saloon of similar spec and power and would have spend money fixing the higher mileage problems that they would have come with.As it stands, coming up to 37k miles I've paid for new tyres, brakes and a coolant bottle because it had a hairline crack the MOT history is and always has been a clear pass, not a single advisory and I get to hear a supercharged V6 every time
