Where were we before Christmas and E39 M5's distracted me? Ah yes, all stripped down and ready for new bits to go on!It got quite expensive quite quickly in the end... Pirtek couldn't sort the pipes out for me because they're aluminium and can't be welded or crimped with their kit. They only tend to work with steel pipe. To save time and messing around with second hand parts I just bought new ones from Porsche. It wasn't cheap but I'd rather do it properly and only once than have to go back and fix it again in the near future. I sent the steering rack off for refurb and that got expensive too.

250k miles on this one. High mileage cars appear to gravitate towards me. I went to see this one courtesy of Bolidemichael of this parish. I've wanted an M5 for a while, and this one intrigued me because of the mileage and the fact that the then current owner had done all of it bar 30k! It was either going to be worn out and a waste of time, or well maintained and worth a shot. Luckily for me it was the latter. My high mileage 911 had just slightly broken on me yet not actually failed to proceed (detailed in its own thread). I needed another car while I sorted that out and this fitted the bill

Following on from my last Readers' Cars thread... https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&......here's the replacement.It's an e93 330d. OK, so it's a bit boring after an M3, but a good car in it's own right. As mentioned in my Car Buying thread, an automatic diesel convertible perhaps isn't many people's idea of a fun car, but it ticks a lot of boxes and I'm enjoying it so far, treating it for what it is.It's an N57 model, so has 245bhp and 384lb/ft. Plus it's only a remap away from significantly more, although plenty sufficient for now. There's the typical diesel clatter getting up

Well, as I indicated in my other thread, I jumped ship and replaced the 330i with a 530d in Touring flavour.Dealer pics:Obligatory forecourt shot after picking it up:My first diesel (other than rentals) so had to be really careful to make sure I'm using the correct pump.Must haves were Driver Assistant Professional, HUD, adaptive suspension, lumbar, heated steering wheel and Adaptive LEDs (if not lasers). I have been watching these for a while now, probably getting on for 2 years, but haven't needed to change my car until now. My NB MX-5 of 8 years was about to fail its MOT in spectacular fashion and with a new job coming up next month I needed to change to something that was still going to be cheap to run but also entertain when required, as well as comfortable enough to be commutable in, in all weathers. 스즈키 에브리 왜건(DA17W) 에어 클리너 필터 청소. 공정1: 기록용. 코펜과 달리 엔진룸에서 잘 안 보이는 부분임. 몇 년 만인지, 몇 번째인지 모를 정도로 오랜만에 엔진을 들여다봤음. 에어 클리너 필터를 청소함. 최근에는 유지보수를 거의 안 했는데도 차가 잘 고장 안 남. 통근과 레저용으로만 사용하면 별 문제 없을 듯. 참고로 코펜의 에어 클리너 필터도 청소함. 신차 구입 후 5년째인데 여러 부분이 열화되고 있음을 느낌.
