For a while I have had my eye on a small car to sit in-between family car and weekend car duties. Short list was an UP! GTI and a Panda Cross. Key consideration was it has to carry MTB (on the roof for ease), a dog (inside, not on the roof) and be able to sit on the Motorway every now and again. Performance was not really a consideration, no desire to take the dog for an early morning spirited drive or hurtle around bends with my bike perched on top. I can’t get over the styling… yet.I will agree with an earlier post though, my entire adult life, I have disliked the styling of the new bmw compared to the outgoing model. The exceptions being the original 4 series, and f12 6 series. I can’t think of another make of car where the styling beds in over time quite as well as BMW. When this was launched i hated it, truely thought it was one of the ugliest cars i had ever seen. Now its just really, really ugly. I wonder if the styling will soften on me to “ it’s alright” over the next few years. Having said that, I still find the IX pretty repuls

All, I’ve been with the RAC since 1991. Had a couple of call-outs over the past few years, and had to buy temporary home start cover at one point.Cover auto-renewed at over £360 last week (I know, was too busy to deal with it at the time).
