None of my older cars starting from 1977 to around 2005 had a cup holder , only thing I had was stick a bottle or can between my legs and hope I didn't spill it

Love the idea, but they were difficult enough to look after in period, never mind 40 years later.Limited annual mileage would help I suppose.

Post pictures of interesting filling stations and garages you come across: small, picturesque, disused, derelict or recycled - anything eye catching. Then and Now pics would be good too. This one is in Llandrindod Wells. I had to stop the car and walk back.When I searched on "Pritchard & Sons Llandrindod Wells" they are now Funeral Directors. That's a Change of Business Planning Application I would have liked to have seen.79.9p per litre? So, not a million years ago it was still functioning like this.

I’m driving an older vehicle today & was totally bewildered not to find a cup holder for my coffee.(I did find one eventually but there is only one in reach of the driver)It reminded me of a time (I think the 90’s) when top gear et al included number of cup holders in their reviews (possibly even in printed stats in the back of magazines if you recall them?). I was convinced at the time this was a piss take, I wanted to here 0-60 times not how many cup holders a vehicle hadI grew up in an era when the only thing consumed in a car were travel sweets - maybe occasionally an opal fruit. Was in London this morning - not where I live now - and saw my old 2012 C63 estate. Was still looking good.

2015 BMW 120i 수입차 구매 검토 중. 딜러는 일본 수입이라고 주장하지만, 속도계가 mph와 kph 병행 표시되고 대시보드 메시지가 영어로 되어 있음. 일본 판매 120i는 속도계가 kph만 표시되고 대시보드 메시지가 일본어임. RHD 차량이므로 영국, 일본, 호주 중 하나에서 온 것으로 보임. 차량의 실제 출처가 의심스러움.

변속기 오일 교환

2003 VW Golf 2.0L 수동변속기에서 최근 변속기 오일 교환 후 2단 진입 시 답답하고 거친 느낌이 남. 주행 초기 약 10분간만 문제 발생, 그 후 정상 작동. 딜러 확인 결과 오일 레벨은 정상.

타이어 교체 후 제동 시 진동 발생. 저속(30mph 이하)에서는 맥동감, 30~50mph에서는 뚜렷한 떨림, 50mph 이상에서는 심한 흔들림. 주차 브레이크가 한 단계 내려가 있었음. 제동 중에만 진동 발생.

2002 미니 쿠퍼(R50) 소유자가 고장난 5단 수동변속기를 2005 쿠퍼 S의 "BKL" 제한차동(LSD, Limited Slip Differential)이 장착된 조립품으로 교체함. LSD의 성능 향상(코너링 속도 증가, 접지력 향상, 드라이브라인 견고성 개선)에 만족하여 LSD/자동차단차동의 기술 정보를 찾으려 했으나, LSD 타입에 대한 정보 출처를 찾을 수 없음.

냉각수 교환

Peugeot XU7JP LFZ 1.8L 8V 엔진(306, 405, 406 모델)의 실린더 헤드에서 빨간색 작은 통로의 용도 불명확. 습식 라이너 설계에서 냉각수가 라이너 주변을 순환하므로, 이 빨간색 통로가 오일 통로라면 오일과 냉각수가 혼합될 수 있어 문제될 수 있음.

엔진오일 교환

우회전할 때는 파워 스티어링이 정상 작동하고 펌프 윙윙거리는 소리가 들리는데, 좌회전할 때는 펌프가 나간 것처럼 느껴짐. 그런데 좌회전 시 펌프 소리가 우회전보다 더 크게 들림. 파워 스티어링 오일 레벨은 약간 낮았으나 2oz만 추가하면 정상 범위('Add'에서 'C' 라인까지)로 돌아옴. 2004년식 쉐보레 서버번.

새로운 요코하마 YK740 타이어를 야리스 SE 후륜에 장착한 후 급제동 시 우측(승객석)으로 현저한 브레이크 스티어 발생. 후륜의 흔들림과 와블이 크게 증가했으며, 새 타이어가 더 나은 제품이어야 하는데 브리지스톤 투란자와 비교하여 사이드월이 약한지, 아니면 제동 스티어 보정으로 인해 서스펜션 마모가 두드러지는 것인지 확인 필요.

LPG 대체 연료 차량에서 온도센서 없는 OMVL REG 인젝터 사용 중 약 60,000km 주행 후 엔진 경고등 점등, LPG 캘리브레이션 조정 불가능. 구 인젝터 분해 시 3번 인젝터는 미사용 상태였으며, 가동부(스프링과 고무)가 손상되어 있고 모든 러버 부품의 두께가 동일하게 변형된 상태 관찰.

따뜻한 날씨(10°C 이상)에서 차량을 한동안 방치한 후 시동을 걸 때 5초 이상 크랭킹이 필요함. 연료 라인에 에어가 있는 것으로 보이며 약 800m 주행 후 차량이 일시적으로 스터터링 발생. 매번 반복됨. 추운 날씨에는 정상 시동. 수년간 지속된 문제. 연료 필터/펌프/배터리 교체했으나 증상 개선 없음.

경미한 언덕에서 차량이 덜덜거림 시작. 언덕과 급가속 회피 시 테스트 결과 대부분 정상 주행하나 약한 덜덜거림 감지 가능. 대시보드 경고등 점등 상태 유지. OBD 코드: P0087. 약 8마일 주행 가능.

엔진오일 교환

2010 현대 투싼에서 지난 1년간 간헐적으로(월 1-2회) 가속페달을 밟아도 RPM이 올라가지 않는 헤지테이션 현상 발생 - 냉시동 후 2분 이내에 주로 발생. 3회 정도는 엔진이 꺼진 후 시동이 걸리지 않았다가 몇 시간 후 또는 다음날에 아무 문제 없이 시동됨. 증상 발생 시 카브 클리너를 흡기에 분사하면 카브 클리너가 있는 동안만 시동이 걸렸다가 몇 초 후 다시 꺼짐. 연료 필터, 연료펌프, 쓰로틀 포지션 센서(TPS) 등을 교체했으나 증상 지속
