Had a C reg one of these back in 96 / 97 and absolutely loved it.Always felt special, revved to the moon and was always reliable. By the time I got it, it already had rust on the rear arches and needed welding to get through it's MOT. Not sure I'd want to spend £20k for a trip down memory lane, but a lovely thing to have owned in my early 20's.

So, Aston gone but not forgotten (journal here) https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&... plan was to be really diligent, get rid of all the left over bits, finish the e36, sell that, then make a move with a clean budget and a space in the shed.I have poor self control and no sooner had one gone than the need for the dopamine hit started to make me tweak pretty badly, scrolling autotrader like a crackhead eyeing up a back alley dealer.So, following on from the Aston martin which everyone was convinced would be horribly unreliable i bought a Mclaren, which everyone has told me will

With a bit of help from AI, the definition of a "cult car" is "a vehicle that inspires fierce, passionate loyalty and a dedicated following among a specific group of enthusiasts, often despite mainstream indifference, quirky design, or practical flaws".The 3 examples that it gives are the DeLorean, Volkswagen Type 2 and Citroen 2CV. My views on the 996 (well the headlamps) are softening. But only if the headlamps are crystal clear like on this one. I've seen too many that have faded and make the car look like it has two big brown blobs on the bonnet. This looks a good 'un!

Predicably most people have missed the point of the thread.Its not to identify future classics but to identify future cult cars, that is cars that a small number of people are very enthusiastic about but the majority of people go meh to.The aforementioned Skoda Yeti might be in with a shout, as might the Citroen C4 Cacti. The few of us who owned a Peugeot 406 coupe knew they were wonderful but that hasn't been reflected in values although I notice the owners club is still going strong. amongst EVs I think the Ionic 5 might become a cult because of it's size and looks as might the Polestar 2 be

M Sport BMW이 과도하게 딱딱한 승차감을 제공함. 유럽의 거친 도로 상태에서 특히 문제가 됨. 승객들이 멀미를 느낄 정도로 서스펜션이 경직되어 있음. 일반 도로 주행 시 승차감이 불편함.

Not sure why anyone wants a hard ride on a 2.something ton family suv? Surely you want comfort first, and that applies to ICE as well as EV SUV’s. Most families don’t appreciate being flung about down a b road I’ve found, and neither do SUV’s even without families in them.
