The dark blue doesn’t look as bad as the pale launch car, but it’s still not pretty. The interior isn’t to my taste, but they’re not aiming this car at people like me, but as an aspirational brand for China, Middle East and tech bros in the USA. I accept that these people have very different tastes to mine, so provided this car then allows Ferrari to continue to make cars I do like (only the Amalfi at the moment), then allows is well!

New car time for me. I picked this up this week after a 6 week delay thanks to the JLR cyber attack. I ordered it back in June so the overall wait hasn't been terrible. It replaces an M3 Touring that was great but felt a bit small at times. Since the Octa was announced I've loved the idea and all reviews of it are fantastic. The new Defender has grown on me since its introduction and the Octa really does seem to be a car that ticks most boxes for me.They come pretty well loaded as standard. I chose the standard car over the Edition One as I'm not a fan of huge amounts of carbon fibre. C

Fantastic choice, both colour and wheel selection!They now offer an amazing blue on the Octa, saw it at Goodwood in this and as much as I love the gold, this would be my choice.

I need to allow a relative to drive my car for a day at the end of the month, I have spoken to my insurer and on principle they allow this as long a it is specific temporary cover as the underwriter doesn't allow dual insurance.How does this work? Any stand out companies that you have used?

All due respect to the current Puma, which is a decent car that drives well, but there is only one in my eyes.I had a Mk1 Puma 1.7 in Moondust Silver when I was 21 as my daily car. Go woke go broke. What's the point of Jaguars USP when any old Chinese EV maker can give you a super smooth 500bhp car with effortless torque and eery refinement for under £50 grand? When Tesla gives you much the same with the added benefit of a luxury charging network? Would it just be beauty?That's about the only thing they could possibly conjure as a point of difference but I doubt they can comply with a myriad of technical parameters for a global car AND make something gorgeous looking. The only way of making something quite different would be to not package the battery as a skateboard

I actually like the new font, less keen on the Logo, but the big let down is the pathetic attempt to woke up the brand with an advert featuring a bunch of very odd looking people with an inability to smile.........I honestly couldn't care less about peoples sexual orientation, how they want to be identified or indeed how they dress, but on what planet does a brand like Jaguar think this represents their products. It is literally has to be the flip opposite as to what I would consider 'Jaguar'.
