엔진오일 교환

While driving the car, the engine shut down in traffic, and the engine light came on . We took the vehicle in for a flow shut off valve issue (customer support program) and found out that the flow shut-off valve issue resulted in damage to the water pump. We were responsible for the replacement of the water pump, which the program did not cover.

Hey guys I idle my car about once a month for 5 minutes to pump up all the tires (my tire inflator draws enough juice the car needs to be on to feed it) and every other month for 10-15 minutes to get rid of bubbles in the coolant from topping off the coolant level (yea I probably got a leak somewhere I’ll get it checked out sooner or later, also I brought up the whole bubble removal thing in a thread long ago). I appreciate this is a question that can't be answered in facts and figures, so I'm after a general idea. I drive a 1986 Supra, which has a modest 2.8-litre engine. I often shut the engine off while waiting at traffic lights to save fuel, but I'm wondering how much it saves when I have to crank the engine before pulling away. Somewhere along the line, I heard that it took about 30 seconds of idling worth of fuel to start a cold engine (i.e. the same amount of fuel as the engine would burn idling for 30 seconds), and for a hot engine, that drops to around 10 seconds, so I try to shut the engine

Most recently I have noticed my temperature gauge rising and im hearing bubbling in the overflow jug. I opened the hood and took off the radiator cap and all the fluid was it drained from the radiator but then it started filling back up. I am wondering if it is my head gasket or my water pump. I drove it this morning to work and when I got to work I opened the hood and the radiator was warm to the touch but there was no fluid on the ground. the overflow was about 1/2 full. so can you tell him if it is the water pump or the head gasket. It is not blowing smoke. I do let it warm up before taking

My cooling system is quite nasty and needs a flush. I followed instructions on radiator flush, which said to run the car no more than an hour. However few tutorial videos online suggest running radiator flush for few hundred kilometers. Understandably bottle instructions are more reliable source to follow but what happens when you run it for too long?

I have been chasing this overheating problem for a couple of months now, and I am thoroughly frustrated. The first issue was a hole in a short, S-shaped hose that goes from the the air bleed valve on the top of the water pump, to a metal line that goes back to the heater coil…I think. 이번에 갑자기 엔진소음으로 쇼트엔진 교체를 하게 됐는데 과정이 잘 이해가 안가서 문의 드립니다. QM6 가솔린 2017년식 주행거리 11.5만 키로 입니다. 11만 키로 정도부터 정차시 딱딱딱딱 일정한 소리로 나는 소음이 있고 RPM이 올라가면 소리 빈도가 다다다다닥 조금 더 자주 나다가 어느 정도 가속되어 주행 시는 주변 소음에 묻혀서 들리지 않는 소음이 나기 시작했습니다. 엔진쪽에서 소리는 났지만 다른 증상 없고 계속 엔진오일 주기적으로 확인했을때 양, 색깔 변화 없어서 그대로 엔진오일 교체 시점까지 5,000km 정도 더 주행을 했습니다. 그리고 르노서비스에서 엔진오일 교체시 물어봤더니 엔진에서 나는 소음은 맞고 엔진오일 교체시 쇳가루는 보이지 않으나 이상이 어딘지 확인하기 위해선 엔진을 위에서부터 뜯어서 확인해야 되고 위쪽 뜯고 옆에 뜯고 안되면 엔진을 내려서 확인을 해야 되는데 최악의 경우 엔진 교체시 600만원까지 들 수 있다는 얘기를 들었습니다. 그래서 2차 의견 듣기 위해 르노삼성 직영사업소에 갔었고 거기서 소리를 듣는 기계를 통해서 검사 확인 시 아래쪽 엔진 블록쪽 문제가 있어 쇼트 엔진 교체를 해야 된다는 이야기를 들었고 그래서 그대로 작업

While idling I noticed the temp gauge showing a high reading. I immediately turned off the A.C and rolled down my windows. (It is now called a 455 air conditioner. Four windows down at 55 m.p.h. My truck has the 6.8l V10 Triton engine in it. When I got it there was a lot of oil in the cooling system but no water in the oil. It ran hot once but didn't do it again. Would it be the head gasket and how should I clean the cooling system out to get all the oil out of it?

First let me state I've been an Auto Tech since about 1967, so this is kicking my butt. I've replaced the water pump, radiator, lower hose, thermostat, fan sensor, coolant sender, engine temperature sensor, I've checked it for a head gasket breach (fluid stayed blue), I've bled the air out from every place I could find but feel there is still a pocket of air in the system. This is my girlfriend's car so right now I look like a real idiot.....please someone help me....(I don't look good with egg on my face).....(oh, and I've sprung for all the parts so far....this is getting expensive....HELP!)

2012 Malibu, 140k. Started about 1-2 months ago. It cranks but doesn’t start. The lights, radio, etc, come on just fine. I replaced the battery first off. My son is replacing his fuel line on his 2006 Nissan Sentra Spec-V. All the information I can find indicates it is a 5/16” fuel line. The QD fittings in the fuel rail and firewall are disconnected with the 5/16 tool. He would like to use new QD fittings but I can’t find any information on them. The OEM do not appear to be available anymore. I have gone to the major auroparts stores, they are lost because their computer does not give them any information. Same with their web sites. I drive a 97 Honda Accord and just recently started experiencing an issue where while driving, my ignition suddenly shuts off. Sometimes when this happens I’m able to turn the key and get the ignition started right back up while coasting, but usually forces me to coast to the side of the road instead to throw it in park and restart ignition (instantly, no sputtering). Hi CTC folks. I have a question about pressure-testing a cooling system. My 23 Bronco Sport Badlands has a known issue. The water pumps fail. Anyone with a Bronco Sport lives in fear it will strike them. Some owners have had 5 water pumps, proving Ford never dealt with the underlying issue, but just puts in known-bad water pumps as replacements. My coolant is now a bit under the MIN line when checked according to the manual’s instructions. About a half inch under.
