Government legislation to remove the requirement for planning permission to install a pavement gully for a charging cable is going to be passed in the next few weeks. You'll still need approval from your local council highways authority, but it's one less impediment. Hopefully LAs will start to realize they need to approve these sort of installations for people, and some good ones already are. Others need to catch up.Yes, I know, it still won't guarantee the parking spot

I've got 2 EVs and have been driving them for 9 years. I'm not aware of this issue, but somehow those who don't have EVs know more about it? I'm all ears.BTW, haven't heard the term DA for a while. Duck's Arse. Which is appropriate in this case as that's the level and value of this take on the matter.Edited by 127Sport on Friday 25th September 15:55

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
