증상

신차 현대 엑센트(5,000마일)에서 배기관으로 검은색 물기 있는 그을음이 배출되고 배기관 내부가 검은 그을음으로 덮여 있음. 환기를 켤 때 오염된 냄새(더러운 양말 냄새)가 남. 주행 중 가속 시 차량이 헤지테이션 또는 슬립 현상 발생. 약 3분간 배기가스 배출 후 증상 지속.

처리 내용

EGR(배기가스 재순환) 시스템 점검 필요. 막힌 EGR 밸브 또는 손상/분리된 EGR 호스가 원인일 수 있음. EGR 시스템이 작동하지 않으면 배기가스의 그을음이 증가함. 엔진룸의 배기가스 누출이 실내 공기질에 영향을 미칠 수 있음. EGR 호스가 재순환 배기가스 대신 신선한 공기를 흡입하면 연료 트림에 영향을 주어 가속 시 헤지테이션/스터링 발생 가능. EGR 밸브, 호스, 연결부 점검 권장.
