증상
디젤 트랙터가 장시간 방치 후 배터리가 방전되어 점프 스타터를 사용했으나 케이블을 역으로 연결함. 양극 단자에서 연기가 발생했고 점프 스타터가 소손됨. 배터리를 충전한 후 엔진은 잘 회전하지만 시동이 걸리지 않음. 전기 시스템이 손상되었거나 극성이 역으로 되었을 가능성이 있는지 확인 필요.
처리 내용
구형 디젤 트랙터는 스타터를 제외한 엔진 전기 장치가 거의 없으며, 이미 엔진이 잘 회전하므로 기본적인 전기 시스템은 정상일 가능성이 높음. 케이블을 연결할 때 시동을 걸기 전에 연기가 발생했다면 배터리 자체 이외의 손상 가능성은 낮음. 장시간 방치로 인한 연료 라인 막힘이나 연료 오염이 가장 가능성 높음. 진단을 위해 흡기구에 스타터 액을 분사하여 엔진이 시동되는지 테스트할 것. 시동이 걸리면 연료 계통 문제로 확인됨.
