I can’t quite believe it, but I got the 540 out on the road at bloody last! It’s been basically a year since it went off the road and it has had a hell of a lot of work done to it! Sills replaced, front wings replaced, coolant system all renewed, front suspension arms, shockers all round, brake pipes, wheel bearings, front brakes and a full respray! There’s been many points that I thought I’d bitten off more than I could chew ( which I did really… ) and didnt think I’d have it back on the road, but I’ve been determined to do this car right and get it sorted! It isn’t quite 100% done, needs a few imperfections ironed out and trims to be fitted and it has a pretty alarming brake judder, but I couldn’t wait any longer to get it out on the road 😂 I’ll have it on the road for a week or two if I’m lucky before it’s tucked back away for winter….. 2027 is going to be the 540’s road trip year, if it doesn’t breakdown 😂 Old cars deserve to be saved and I’m glad I’ve financially ruined myself and saved this one! I’ll get more before and after images etc and I need to get the car fully valeted as it’s covered in dust, but the fact I’ve been grinning ear to ear like an orangutan all afternoon confirms it’s the car for me.

BMW 1er F20 116i에서 유압이 높다는 고장코드 발생. 테스터로 측정한 결과 워밍업된 엔진 아이들에서 약 2.4bar, 3000rpm에서 약 8bar로 정상보다 높음. 밸브 스템 씰, 타이밍 체인, 밸브 커버, 오일 압력 조절 밸브 및 오일 압력 센서를 교체했으나 고장코드가 여전히 남아있음. 주행성능은 정상이고 경고등이나 디스플레이 에러 없음. 7,000~10,000km마다 오일 교환할 때만 확인됨.
