증상
포드 피에스타 1.4 TDCi에서 서서히 누유가 발생하며 시간이 지나면서 증가합니다. 시속 70km 이상으로 주행할 때 더 심해지는 것으로 보입니다. 빨간 원으로 표시한 부분에 오일이 모여 있고 고이는 현상이 발생합니다.
처리 내용
먼저 엔진베이를 깨끗이 청소해야 합니다. 누유 원인을 찾기 위해 먼저 오래된 오일, 먼지, 때를 완전히 제거해야 합니다. 자동차용품점에서 시트러스 계열 오일 클리너를 구입할 수 있습니다. 엔진을 따뜻할 정도로만 데우되, 스프레이를 뿌렸을 때 빠르게 증발할 정도로 뜨겁지 않게 합니다. 시트러스 계열 클리너는 물에 녹으므로 호스로 헹굴 수 있습니다. 특히 엔진 아래쪽에 쌓인 때를 제거하기 위해 솔로 닦는 것이 좋습니다. 청소 후 다음을 수행합니다: 엔진을 시동하고 충분히 데운 후 물이 모두 증발했는지 확인합니다. 짧은 거리로 주행할 수 있지만 다시 더러워질 정도로 멀리 가면 안 됩니다. 엔진 아래에 큰 골판지를 놓습니다. 골판지에 떨어지는 오일 방울이 어디서 형성되는지 확인합니다. 오일이 떨어지는 위치를 찾으면 그 원인을 추적합니다. 오일은 와이어를 따라 흘러갈 수 있습니다.
