증상
03 어코드의 파워스티어링 시스템에서 기온이 영하로 내려가면서 에어가 유입되고 있습니다. 엔진 시동 시 PS 누유 방지제가 빠르게 소모되고 있으며, NYS 연간 점검에서 랙 피니언에서 누유가 발견되어 부적격 판정을 받았습니다.
처리 내용
누유 방지제는 효과가 거의 없으므로 본격적인 복구를 기대하기 어렵습니다. 저온에서 시작된 누유는 기온이 올라와도 사라지지 않을 가능성이 높습니다. 최종적인 해결책은 스티어링 랙 교체인데, 중고 부품도 가격이 높고 교체 작업이 복잡합니다. 15년 이상 된 중고 부품의 경우 고무 부품이 경화되어 1년 정도 후 다시 누유가 발생할 수 있습니다. 랙 수리 시 새로운 고무 부품으로 교체하는 방법이 경제적이지만, 안전 관련 부품이므로 수리를 수락하는 정비소를 찾기 매우 어렵습니다. 스티어링은 안전 필수 부품이기 때문에 법적 책임 문제가 발생할 수 있기 때문입니다.
