증상
OBD2 장치에서 자동차의 제동 거리를 계산하고 싶음. 시속 30km에서 급제동을 할 때 자동차가 스키드하면서 정지하는 거리 'x'미터를 측정하려고 함. 그러나 최대 제동 시 차량 엔진이 회전을 멈추고 ECU는 속도를 0으로 읽기 시작하므로, 스키드하는 동안의 실제 속도를 읽을 수 없음. OBD2 장치로는 자동차가 스키드했다는 것을 알 수 없음.
처리 내용
불가능함. GPS로도 잘 수행할 수 없음. OBD2에서 얻을 수 있는 관련 파라미터는 속도와 RPM뿐임. 바퀴가 잠기거나 접지력이 손실되면 이 둘 다 계산에 사용할 수 없음. 브레이크 페달 위치(Brake Pedal Position)는 표준 PID가 아니므로 참고점을 얻지 못할 수도 있음. 제동 거리를 계산하려면 다음 중 하나의 정보가 필요함: (1) 제동 시점부터 완전 정지까지의 완전한 속도 프로파일 - 이를 통해 제동 지점과 정지 지점을 관찰하고 적분하여 거리 추정, 또는 (2) 제동을 적용한 지점의 위치와 정지한 지점의 위치 - 이로부터 거리를 직접 측정. 이 중 어느 것도 OBD2로는 구할 수 없음. GPS 같은 다른 시스템을 사용해도 속도 프로파일 정확성, 신호 손실 등 다양한 문제가 발생함.

Lovely ready and I love your choice!! The E60 was one of the best M5s I ever had - On road and track Use it, and enjoy every moment of the magnificent engine!! I did more track days in my E60 than all my other cars in the past combined I would hazard a guess at. So many fond memories. My advice, put a decent set of brakes on it, I ended up with 12 Piston Calipers and 400mm rotas with all the track days I did and it really transformed it and the confidence it gave to the car.

I'm very observant when driving or walking, the other day I walked my son to school alongside a busy road, I reckon 80% of the cars that passed me were looking down at phones. I had a van pull out on me on a roundabout a few months ago and then slam his brakes on, phone clearly visible so I submitted the footage to TVP and to my surprise they sent me a letter confirming a prosecution. The amount of times I've had to swerve recently because of cars swerving onto my side of the road is diabolical.
