증상
2009 쉐보레 말리부(2.4L)가 간헐적으로 다음 증상이 동시에 발생: 1) 시동 시 냉각팬이 작동 2) 온도계가 C(영하)에 고정됨 3) AC가 작동하지 않음(바람만 나오고 냉각 안됨). 증상이 반복되다가 정상으로 돌아옴. 온도계는 극저온 또는 정상만 표시되고 고온은 절대 표시 안됨. 정상 작동 시 AC는 완벽하게 냉각됨.
처리 내용
엔진 온도센서(Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor, ECT) 배선 불량 또는 센서 불량으로 추정됨. GM 차량에서는 ECT 센서 배선이 단선되면 컴퓨터가 엔진 온도를 감지하지 못해 안전장치로 냉각팬을 강제 가동함. 이는 대시보드 온도계가 움직이지 않는 이유도 설명함. 또한 컴퓨터가 엔진 과열로부터 보호하기 위해 AC 컴프레서 작동을 차단할 수 있음(컴퓨터가 AC 제어 신호도 관리). ECT 센서와 배선 연결부를 점검하고, 필요시 센서 교체 권장. 가스 캡 불량은 이 증상과 무관함.

I bought one of these 3 years ago for £21k it had 19k miles on it and all factory options ticked aside from heated steering wheel and colour changing interior lights.For the money I could have bought a semi ropey 90k+ miles German saloon of similar spec and power and would have spend money fixing the higher mileage problems that they would have come with.As it stands, coming up to 37k miles I've paid for new tyres, brakes and a coolant bottle because it had a hairline crack the MOT history is and always has been a clear pass, not a single advisory and I get to hear a supercharged V6 every time
