아니다, 불가능하다. 자동차 배터리는 12V에서 수백 암페어의 큰 전류가 필요한데, 일반 USB 출력은 5V에서 0.5A~2A 정도만 공급한다. 물 호스에 비유하면 암페어는 호스의 굵기, 볼트는 물의 흐름 속도다. 스마트폰 파워뱅크는 빨대 같은 호스에 미약한 물흐름이고, 자동차 배터리는 하수도 본관 수준의 굵은 호스에 강한 흐름이 필요하다는 뜻이다. 더 큰 문제는 충전 회로 설계에 따라 역방향 전기 흐름이 발생할 수 있다는 것이다. 즉, 자동차 배터리에서 파워뱅크로 전압과 전류가 역으로 흐르면서 충전기가 손상되거나 더 심각한 문제가 발생할 수 있다. 빨대를 하수도 본관에 연결했을 때 물을 틀면 무슨 일이 일어날지 생각해보면 된다. 참고: 일부 자동차 전용 점프스타트 파워뱅크 제품들이 있으며, 이러한 제품들의 리뷰는 대체로 긍정적이지만 작동하지 않는다는 리뷰도 일부 있다.

When Tesla gives you much the same with the added benefit of a luxury charging network? Would it just be beauty?That's about the only thing they could possibly conjure as a point of difference but I doubt they can comply with a myriad of technical parameters for a global car AND make something gorgeous looking. The only way of making something quite different would be to not package the battery as a skateboard
