A touch of Italian design flair might have helped. Regardless, this is just the epitome of a toy for the boys that can afford it, nothing more imo. It's possibly even an irrelevance in annuals of supercar history I'd take a T.33 given the choice.Obviously personal opinions, but i think the F1 (and now the S1) are the best looking cars ever. Period. And definitely not needing Italian design flair. I love some Italian designs - the 33 Stradale and LP400 Countach would be be near the top for me, but the F1 is the GOAT for me. T33 is stunning though.GOAT you say? There is only one and that's the Miura, compromises and all. Then again as we've said, it's only personal opinions at the end of the day. Mind, I'd happily have a Stradale too. I try and judge cars on physical viewing, not just photos - i've never seen a 33 Stradale or T33, admittedly, but when i saw my first Miura, i was underwhelmed. When i saw my second Miura, it just didn't do anything for me, personally. I fully appreciate its historical importance though and how many other people love it. Yes - F1 GOAT for me.Not a fan of Miura or F1...and as much as I'd love to explain in detail WHY, I probably can't. Sometimes you either like things or you don't.Fair point. I agree - its a connection. An emotional response. First time i saw an F1 was on the cover of Autocar 3rd June 1992. I knew i'd just seen the best looking car i'd ever see (my opinion obviously). 34 years later, my opinion hasnt changed.Don't suppose you can post the article about the 52 mpg Metro. Now THAT would be interesting.....Edited by Phobos50 on Monday 17th August 10:46

I'm about break even on my M3 if I ignore what I could have done with the money instead. We had a Ignis Sport that we bought in 2013. 41k miles, 1 previous owner for £1900 (£2700 in todays money) and we sold it ten years later in 2023 for £3000 on 116k miles so made £300 profit. The 17 year old lad I sold it to crashed it within a month of passing his test. My Celica GT-Four I paid £3000 (£4500 in todays money)

Already cars younger than that are broken for their batteries and uneconomic to repair if accident damage or faults. Predicted EV Vehicle life expectancy is 16 years. Car lifespans take into account those that are written off which is why when you look around you see plenty of cars older than 15 years. If you were to remove early life write offs then the average age is close or greater than 20. As for EVs, between 2010 and 2020 just 100,000 EVs were sold, a

I'll always remember overtaking 3 cars in a row years back in my Sierra XR4x4, and the one in the middle didn't look and crashed into the side of me whilst I was overtaking. So I've always been a bit nervous doing that ever since really, I've still done it don't get me wrong, but I just hope that the other drivers are concentrating when I've done it though.
