증상
2009 Ford Focus SES에 장착된 215/45R17 Bridgestone Blizzak 겨울 타이어가 마모되어 교체 필요. 타이어샵에서 205/50R17 GTRadial Champiro로 교체를 제안했는데, 규격 변경이 문제가 없는지 확인 필요.
처리 내용
새 타이어는 기존 것보다 폭이 10mm 좁고(215mm → 205mm) 높이는 약간 더 높습니다(45% → 50%). 새 타이어의 외경이 약 2% 크므로 속도계가 약간 부정확해질 수 있지만, 마모된 타이어와 새 타이어의 차이 정도로 무시할 수 있는 수준입니다. 일반적으로 권장 사이즈에서 한두 사이즈 정도 벗어나도 휠에 장착되는 데 문제가 없습니다. 다만 차량 제조사의 허용 타이어 사이즈 범위를 확인하는 것이 중요합니다. 운전 안전성과 연비, 핸들링에 미치는 영향은 미미합니다.
