Servicing has been restricted to tyres, cabin filter, brake fluid and wiper blades. The cheapest Model S I purchased was an Ex Ranger car purchased through auction for £7k with 100k up.It was a 2017 refreshed non-performance 90D (with the small drive units) (about 500 bhp). A very quick car.It could tell it had had suspension arms at some point (they are easy to replace). I replaced the wiper motor (the spindle wears potentially catching the bonnet). That was £120 and took me 20 minutes. As a (Ex) mechanic, I find them easier to work on than comparative ICE cars. The battery was 95% which was enough for 240 miles. In all other respects the car was basically as new. It was a car that was smoother and faster then a new Bentley.I would say avoid the RWD and Performance models and you hare in with a good chance. These models need a coolant delete on the drive units to prevent failure. If you can find an SC01 car (still with free supercharging for life) you will have a car for life that you can take all over Europe for the price of the toll roads. I know of a few high millage cars and have seen You-tubers take these beyond 400,000 miles. The new Model 3 is better but the Model S certainly has more style about it.I am involved in lots of motor-trade valuation work and I am also a customer too. If you have a car that basically doesn't need servicing, belts, filters, turbos, oil changes or anything else, why would you put up with spending £500 a year + on "regular maintenance" ?. I can see huge changes afoot as every small town has a range of small garages and motor factors beavering away, to keep these ICE cars on the road, where the electric cars dont need anything in comparison. I can see all this industry disappearing as sure as the High street is closing down.My modern ICE cars look like e

This looks fantastic. I think it's got to a point you'd have to be daft to buy the G90 M5 over this or a top end Taycan. Either pure combustion or pure electric, the PHEVs are just a pointless, overcomplicated middle option

Still as subtle as a brick in your face. Not for me.

Other than a slightly bulky rear end, I think that looks fantastic. 9/10. And it's a saloon, not another bloody SUV - hurrah!
