Or you could buy something more interesting that at the very least makes a nice noise and, when you do find a nice stretch of road that is quiet, you have enough performance to raise a smile. When you stop comparing, you can start enjoying. Especially now that everything will be slower than electric cars.I do agree that caring about straight line performance is somewhat pointless now that you’ll inevitably get embarrassed by some £20k Chinese EV that has 1000hp, but when straight line performance and a nice noise are the only perks of spending double to what it would cost to buy, tax, and fuel most other B6 Passats I expect a little more for my money.Edited by Sofa on Friday 31st July 15:15
