Thanks.The way an LED bulb both behaves and the colour will present itself when switched on or off. If I see it is behaving that way I will check the markings on the lamp, if they are not compatible I will fail it. I am yet to be wrong when I have done. Thanks for the info.

this is my username said: Does a redundant door have to work?I have a Mini R55 Clubvan - registered as a van, no rear seats, blacked out rear side windows. It still has the Clubman "third door" behind the drivers door, but it is completely redundant as it opens up on to the side of the rear load bulkhead. There as a narrow gap where you could potentially squeeze stuff in and out of the cargo area around the bulkhead, but that's it.The door won't open at the moment. As there are no rear seats and there is no usable access through it to the rear cargo area, does it have to function for an MOT?ThanksOfficially, for the test the door hinges and B post need to checked for security and condition.I've had a couple of Clubmans in that need a bit of pressure placed on them to unlatch, and they open up fine tho
